Singapore Circus Festival

2006 marks the year of Bornfire's entrance into the international circus scene when the first festival - Bornfire Fire Festival was produced. The festival reached another milestone when we had our first international festival collaboration with Japan Fire Festival and Cambodia Tini Tinou Circus Festival. The festival evolved progressively into a circus festival in 2011, focusing on a wider range of circus skills as the circus community in Singapore grew.

Bornfire Festival is run by volunteers, by circus practitioners and artists. The festival runs over the weekend bringing 2 full days of workshops and circus talks; ranging from object manipulations to acrobatics and aerial. The evenings are filled with fun stages such as Open Stages, Gala Night, Youth Stage and Circus Games. In 2012, Bornfire Festival witness the birth of two unique stages - Circus Battle Stage and Improvisation Stage.
With practitioners, teachers and performers coming from far and near, the festival never fail to end with lots of Singapore food excursions.
